It's been 9 years...can't believe how fast time goes by.

Years ago DA inspired me to get out my pens and paper again something I hadn't done in a very long time...I love that about this place..but my true passion is for beading...something I just didn't see much of at all here.  Now after another year long abscence...I see many other jewelry artists and even a jewelry club! I'm so excited to be inspired by other jewelry artists as well as other types of art. I hope I have time to stick around...I need to make the time. I was overwhelmed by the years worth of submissions I needed to go back through and comment on, I tried to do a lot of them, but found myself not being balanced again (as this place often captures me and whisks me away from my responsibilities) so I decided to just clear everything and start fresh. That way I can check back every day while I'm sitting here working on my jewelry and on my website and have time to enjoy everybody's work.

Hello everyone....just peeking in to see who stopped by

We had to make an unexpected move, so lifes been hectic. You accumulate a lot of junk when in the same place place for 8 years : Had 3 garage sales before we left!

Also still homeschooling veed and the older he gets the more work we have to do. He's in 7th grade this year, so my energies have to go where it's more important.

I do miss you all, and I miss viewing your wonderful creations everyday. I have some other work with a deadline that I must get done first, then hopefully I will be back for a bit to view and comment. It would be nice to even be able to create myself some day..sheesh. Life just wont give up! I was inspired yesterday though...a person interested in my jewelry from my online store happened to be visiting Maui, so we met and she purchased some items. The best part was the wonderful things she said about my work and how it was presented. That was so incouraging! It made me want to get right back to creating, which is nice because after all we have been through with this move and other things, my creativity level has just been killed.

Finally! I got my website done! ...well not the one I was building myself to sell my jewelry on. I caved and joined a type of artisan's/antique mall. Much easier that way with how busy I've been. A lot of the pics I have up on DA of my jewelry I've had to redo for this new site because the scanner just wasnt' cutting it. So I"ve added a little background Hawaiian flare with leaves and lahala (sp?) mats. Jewelry looks nice on it   I'd still like to finish my website rather then just give up on it..but as most things, it'll have to wait.
